Saturday 5th March - Poker Run

Meet at the PMCC Clubhouse for an 8am breakfast provided by the Club. We will all pick out cards before heading out to enjoy the waters of Lake Victoria with the aim of trying your hand at playing poker on the water. First we will head off to Sperm Whale Head then Loch Sport followed by Wattle Point. Then it is back to the Clubhouse where the winner will be decided and be given their prize.

What is a Poker Run? A poker run is an organized event where participants, usually using motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, boats, snowmobiles, horses, on foot or other means of transportation, must visit different checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one. The object is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run.

Members and non-members all welcome!

Cost:             Members: Free              Non-members: $10

For further details and to book your place please contact: Rear Commodore Gary Smith via the PMCC email address: paynesvillemcc@bigpond.com

Saturday 12th March - Marley Point Overnight Yacht Race

The 54th annual Marley Point Overnight Race will be held on Labour Day weekend. This race is for trailerable yachts and is scheduled to start at sunset, finishing at Paynesville. Some of us will travel on water, some by road to meet at Lake View Caravan Park, owned by Club Member David Ferguson. Once there we will be ready for a great spit roast dinner. The yachts will pass through McLennan Straits in the dark but with a few lights and the pretty narrow water we can get a good view.

Free to Club members and only $10 per head for non-members.
